YOL CHAT — Your Online Chat

Community Rules

We want a friendly community where adults can meet, chat and enjoy themselves.

18+ only. You must be aged 18 or over and provide your correct birthday when asked. The birthday check is self-declared; it does not verify identity or actual age. Screen names, profiles and online status are not proof of identity.

Using YOL CHAT

Dating and meeting people

Do not assume a member is who they claim to be. Never send money to someone you have only met online. If meeting someone, choose a public place and tell someone you trust. Consent and respectful behaviour are required in every room and IM.

Blocking, reporting and moderation

Click a member's screen name to block or report them. Blocking stops private messaging in both directions and hides their room messages from you; it does not ban them from the whole site. Moderators can remove room messages and apply room bans. Administrators can review reports and take account-level action where appropriate.

Moderation is not continuously staffed and we cannot promise an immediate response. For urgent danger, contact the emergency services rather than relying on a chat report.

Enforcement and appeals

Rule breaches may lead to content removal, room restrictions, account suspension or removal, depending on severity and context. Contact support@yol.chat to report a problem or appeal a decision. Include your screen name and relevant details; never send your password.

Service and changes

YOL CHAT is provided as an evolving community service. Availability and features may change, and outages may occur. Material rule changes will be communicated through the site; continued access may require renewed acceptance. Nothing in these rules removes rights you have under applicable law.
